Our Broadband Wireless service is ready for service.  All potential customers within 3 miles of the main water Tower in Charlotte Court House most likely qualify for this service.  However, Pure Internet will need to perform a site survey to ensure eligibility.  It is safe to say that if you can see the main town water tower, you most definitely qualify for this service.

This service differs from phone company DSL and cable alternatives in that your upload and download speeds will be the same.

The setup fee is $150.00.

Customers that need to connect more than one computer to the Internet can use a Broadband/DSL router.  We charge $80 for this router, but you are free to purchase and configure your own router as you see fit.  Ethernet cards are also required and can be provided by Pure Internet at a nominal fee.

This service is NOT the same thing as WiFi or 802.11b, so you won't have to worry about the security problems that are found in those protocols.  We use a proprietary scheme that is harder to hack than most wireless schemes. We also recommend, and support, the installation of Firewalls and VPN connections for all of our Wireless AND DSL customers who want to ensure the security of their network.

You can use our Wireless DSL Service  to:

• Surf the Internet at the same time as your family or office-mates.
• Speed up your Internet surfing by a tremendous amount.  Our basic rates start at 768 Kbps. This means that your uploads AND downloads will be faster than your friends on DSL or Cable.
• Connect remote offices together so that you can save on interconnectivity costs.
• Use Voice over IP to save on Long Distance costs and connect your remote office PBX and KSU (Key Systems).
• Connect to your friends who are also on our system and play games at speeds up to 10Mbps. That's as fast as being on your own Ethernet!
   

Our system does NOT require a phone line. This means that you can surf the Internet and talk on the phone at the same time!
