Our wireless product uses state of the art technology to provide  high-speed access to your business or residence using the unlicensed spectrum. 

Our Halifax, Keysville, Brookneal, Clover, Vernon Hill, Scottsburg and Charlotte Court House customers who can see the main town water tower, most certainly qualify for this high speed service.

DSL customers need to be within 18,000 feet of an Embarq Central Office in order to qualify for DSL.

The main advantages of Wireless over DSL are:

  • Your upload and download speeds will be the same.  DSL and cable technologies limit your upload speeds.
  • Wireless does not rely on the phone company!
  • You don't need a phone line or cable TV for Wireless Internet. 
  • Wireless offers much faster upload speeds than DSL or Cable. This is very helpful if you would like to utilize our popular Remote Backup Service .

 DSL is useful if you are not within range of our wireless points of presence (POPs).
